This February, Kodak Gallery gives the gift of social networking with its announcement of Slide.com, a service which allows users to create portable slideshows, fully customizable with unique backgrounds, cool effects and your very own music soundtrack. Once created, the Slideshow can be posted to your blog or added to your personal profile on popular social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook.

Slide Inc. is a social network software company based in San Francisco. The recent partnership with Kodak Gallery promises to be the first of several Slideshow products integrated with Kodak’s services this year.

Prediction: a major grocery store chain will announce a service called iEatThis.com, a dynamic social networking site allowing registered users to express themselves through their grocery lists.
