Not all promotional mugs pave the way for a company’s success. And this is not because customized mugs are bad marketing tools. This occurs when they are used improperly by companies. Here are the 3 causes of promotional mugs failure: 1. They are Cheap and Cheap
The problem of most of us is that if we are on a tight budget what we do is buy cheap promotional mugs that might have a low cost, but may be made from low-grade materials. Quality should never be compromised with price, otherwise we will take away the most vital asset of promotional mugs—its immeasurable capacity to market brands. Always keep in mind that the advantage of promotional items over other marketing strategies is that they can promote you for years, even for decades, but this is directly promotional to the durability of the promotional item. If the item gets worn-out, your exposure is put to an eternal halt, and when it lives for years, your exposure will do to.
2. They Serve No Function Whatsoever
People love personalized mugs that have other practical uses aside from holding liquids. For example, they will prefer a mug that has sturdy and reliable insulation rather than a simple ceramic mug because it can keep their coffee hot for a prolonged period of time. A traveler will also want a promotional souvenir mug that has a lid and an easy grip so it can be carried anywhere he or she goes without spilling a single drop of liquid.
3. They Don’t Stand Out
If your mugs are ordinary, then it will just melt among all the other ordinary mugs available in the market. Why will a person favor your over other promotional mugs? Give people a strong reason to use your mug and your will definitely not fail in your marketing.
Now that you know these things already, better avoid on doing them to keep your marketing campaign from failing.
